Please change an 'Alpha' of a material. However the ortho view shows just a preview. Please be cafecul that the preivew cannot display with a precise z-order.

When I change alpha of material it only shows in perspective
view and not in any ortho views.

Sorry, I misunderstood it was not one of three orthogonal views but an orthogonal 3D view.
An alpha is not applied on the three orthogonal views because an alpha in the view that cannot be rotated has a low visibility and it does not make much sense.

Thank you, Metasequoia is the only modeller that does not support alpha in the ortho views.
I will have to stay with Silo until Metasequoia catches up,thanks again for your help.
