Hello , I am learning and writing a practical guide on Metasequoia . I can not understand the physical meaning of the operation “Move faces to a new object” . What does it do? How can I call this function on an object ? Please, if anyone understands how this function works, send me screenshots of the operation to my e-mail .Thank you.

Please select faces and call the menu. A new object will be created and the selected faces will be moved from the original object to the new one.

Thank you for your response. The problem was solved by painstaking observation. Here is its actual physical meaning:
When you create a new object, and you want to move a part of the polygons to the new object or “detach” from the parent object, the “Move” command will not allow you to do it - it will move the whole object. But when you use the “Move faces to a new object” function on the polygons you want to move, the command will “detach” these polygons from the parent object.
