No slide operation in Metasequoia. Please select vertices or edges, and move them.

The following operations can be used to replace the slide function in a limited way.
1) Duplicate the object to be operated and put it in edit locked state.
2) Press the [Snap] button in the editing options to enable the [Edge] option.
3) Move the vertex along the Edge of the duplicated object.

次の操作で、限定的にスライド機能の代替が可能になります。
1)操作するオブジェクトを複製して編集ロックされた状態にします。
2)編集オプションの [スナップ] ボタンを押して[辺]のオプションを有効にします。
3)複製したオブジェクトの辺に沿って頂点を移動させます。

毎回この操作をするのも手間ですし、限定的な機能の模倣しかできないのでスライド機能を要望しておきます。

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately it's not practical in my case. A slide edge function seems like a really basic tool to be missing.
